The Rebrand - Wild Fern Weddings, North East Wedding Decor & Sustainable Flowers

North East Wedding Decor & Sustainable Flowers

If you’ve been following my work for a while, you might notice things look a little different around here. New name, new look… but the same passion for creating stylish, sustainable wedding decor in the North East. After a lot of thought (and a lot of scribbling names down in the middle of the night), I’m so excited to officially introduce Wild Fern Weddings.

Why the change?

When I first started my business, I picked a name that worked for where I was at the time — but over the years, my style and services have grown into something more refined, more “me”. I wanted a name that truly reflected my approach: modern, natural, and rooted in quality. That’s where the fern comes in.

What ferns mean to me

Ferns are timeless. They’ve been around for millions of years, quietly thriving in all kinds of conditions. They symbolise new beginnings, resilience, and growth — all things that connect beautifully with weddings (and with running a small business!). Plus, if you’ve seen my decor, you’ll know I’m all about that fresh, natural look — and ferns are the perfect representation of the sustainable, nature-inspired style I’ve become known for.

Same values, new look

Even though the name and branding have changed, some things are staying exactly the same:

  • Sustainability first – I’ll still be using high-quality, reusable artificial foliage, dried, and preserved elements that can be enjoyed again and again.

  • Cohesive, handcrafted design – Everything is still carefully styled to suit your wedding, with attention to detail from start to finish.

  • Personal service – Fewer bookings each season means I can give every couple the time and care they deserve.

A new addition: bouquets

One of the most exciting parts of this rebrand is introducing sustainable wedding bouquets to my hire collection. They’re designed with the same principles as the rest of my décor — high-quality, reusable, and beautifully crafted to suit your style. It means your bouquet can be just as eco-conscious as your centrepieces and arches, without compromising on style or impact.

Looking ahead

Wild Fern Weddings feels like the next natural step for my business. It’s a name and brand I can grow with, one that reflects the kind of work I’m proud to create. I can’t wait to style this year’s weddings under the new name, meet new couples, and see what amazing ideas we can bring to life together.

If you’d like to see the new look in action or chat about your wedding plans, you can explore the updated website or get in touch — I’d love to hear from you.
