Runa Farm is a truly one-of-a-kind venue, blending stylish quirkiness with incredible versatility. Its unique style allows every couple to bring their own personal touch to the space, making each wedding completely bespoke. Having dressed several weddings at Runa Farm, I’m always inspired by its potential—and their Instagram feed is a constant source of ideas with its array of beautifully styled weddings.
One wedding that stands out to me is Matthew & Helena’s special day, a perfect example of how to highlight the venue’s existing architecture and distinctive style while incorporating personal flair.
Why Runa Farm is a Dream Wedding Venue
Runa Farm is a beautiful fusion of fairytale garden romance, whimsical charm, and luxurious details—have you seen those chandeliers?! While that mix might sound eclectic, it all works seamlessly, creating a cohesive atmosphere that feels both magical and sophisticated.
Matthew & Helena embraced this balance by designing a luxury, whimsical, fairytale garden theme that perfectly complemented the venue. They incorporated vibrant spring wildflower colors, which were trending in late 2024 and are set to remain popular into 2025.
A Bold, Unique Styling Choice
What made their wedding truly unique was how they paired these soft, romantic tones with striking hunter-green table runners and chair sashes, alongside elegant black candle holders. It’s a bold combination that might sound unconventional on paper, but just like Runa Farm itself, it all came together beautifully.
Working with The Flower Room, Yarm, who provided stunning floral arrangements for the ceremony and reception tables, we created a cohesive look that felt fresh and timeless. Matthew & Helena also asked me to style my Luna Moon Frame with wildflowers in spring colors, tying everything together and adding a touch of personal charm.
